My Activities
My life is shaped by a mix of work, creativity, and experiences that inspire me. I like staying involved in things that challenge me, help me grow, and let me express who I am. Whether I’m creating, learning something new, or working with others, I’m drawn to activities that feel meaningful and align with what I care about.

Sentinel Secondary School Ski Team, Varsity Athlete
Trains and competes on the varsity alpine skiing team in district-level events. Qualified for Whistler Mountain provincial tournaments.

The Sentinel Asteria Journal, Editor in Chief
Leads student-run academic journal that publishes monthly articles on STEM, humanities, and current events. Reviewed and edited 70+ student submissions. Builds newsletter viewership and reader engagement through advertising and feedback surveys.
Conducts in-depth research and writes articles on diverse topics, from robotics to politics.

EcoDream Builders Club at Sentinel
Collaborates with local organizations, schools, and government to promote eco-friendly practices. Applies robotics to develop smart-city solutions to local environmental issues, such as applied robotics to develop smart-city solutions to local environmental issues, such as waste management, air and water quality monitoring, plastic reduction, and improving urban green spaces.

Children's Corner Club at Sentinel
Partners with local schools to expand STEM outreach and inspire future innovators. Led physics demonstrations for 100+ students, translating complex ideas into story-driven experiments and creative problem-solving exercises.
Published young learners’ enrichment book, Imbuing & Interpreting Scientific Explanation to Human Existence and Interactions.

UBC Engineering Lab & Composite Research Network
Worked with University of British Columbia faculty, graduate researchers, and engineers on advanced composite materials research. Studied how new materials are developed and tested within Technology Readiness Level frameworks. Presented how lab insights could be translated into scalable practices to research hub’s industrial partners.

CityStudio Vancouver
Researched barriers to mobility caused by damaged sidewalks in Vancouver. Interviewed older adults, people with disabilities, and policymakers. Analyzed data, co-created recommendations for sidewalk investment, and planned the HUBBUB showcase to present findings to city staff and officials.

TenTon Robotics, Varsity Captain
Mechanically designs, programs, and fabricates VEX competition robotics. Leads build cycles, teaching new members safety and engineering principles. Mentors VEX IQ elementary students.

Women in Technology; Indigenous Women in Technology
Spoke to 200+ participants about my experiences as a young woman in STEM, highlighting ways to support and mentor others pursuing similar paths.

Canadian Pacific Robotics Competition
Represented the region, using leadership and communication skills to collaborate with tournament organizers and other student ambassadors.

Adopt Korean Rescue
Airport Ambassador / Animal Rescue Volunteer
Volunteered by assisting dogs arriving from Korea and ensuring they reached their new homes safely.

Whistler Ski Instructor (Volunteer)
Taught beginner ski techniques to low-income children at Whistler, focusing on safety, confidence, and foundational skills. Developed strong leadership and communication abilities while fostering a love for outdoor sports and making skiing more accessible to underserved youth.
